RMFFSSI using football to teach positive social skills
Category: Sports
Real Madrid Foundation Football School for Social Integration (RMFFSSI) – using the game of football to teach positive social skills to young people from ages 5 to 17. The SJF manages the school and pays all related costs including gears and equipment for students. The RMF provides oversight, periodic coaches training, and allows the use of the RMF brand. Students participate in football matches and other recreational and educational activities. Riu usually provides meals free of charge for 6 months and Iberostar provides meals at a discounted rate for the other 6 months. Due to a lack of a venue, the programme was suspended from August 2018 but resumed in January 2020 at the Montego Bay Community College.
